Christopher Stephen Marsh

Christopher Stephen Marsh passed away following a lengthy illness on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Northside General Hospital. Chris spent the last 20 years working in Fort MacMurray where he worked with local 92. When he was home, he loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid music lover and always had the music blasting in the background. Chris will be dearly missed by his children, Corey (Courtney), Kenneth, Christopher and Vicki, Chrystal and Tracey; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Lewis (Ann), David (Karen) and Wayne (Judy); sisters, Valerie Russell, Peggy Marsh and Lorna (Paul) MacLean, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends including lifelong friend, Michael Taylor. Chris was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret (nee Rigby) Marsh; two brothers, Derek and Barry; nephew, Zachary, and brothers-in-law, Edward Russell and John LeRoy. Friends can pay their respects and visit with Chris’ family at a visitation on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines.
