Charles “Charlie” Warren MacLeod, age 67, of Westville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Charles “CF” and Gertie (Fogarty) MacLeod, of Westville. Charlie had a great sense of humour with a quick wit and a joke for everyone. He was an employee of Michelin Tire for over 30 years and later worked at the Visitors Information Centre, Pictou and also at Caribou Park until retirement. He will be dearly missed by his wife Sandra (Freeman); daughter Amy (James Peters), Linacy; step-daughter Julie Young (Harlen), Alma; step-son Chris Campbell (Angie), Union Centre; grandchildren, Cassidy, Zach, Gemma, and Caden; Jessica, Maddie, and Masha; Chace and Callie. He is also survived by sisters Vivian MacLeod (Vaughan), BC and Darlene MacLeod, BC; and step-sisters Mary Best (Carl), Pat Bennett, and Judy Jack; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Shirley Gauley and Frances MacPherson and brother-in-law Clarence Freeman. Charlie is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Tuesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
