Candia Antoinette (Colosimo) Mclean

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Candia Antoinette McLean (Colosimo) of Dominion, daughter of Antonio and Chiarina Colosimo. Candia passed on April 6, 2018 at age 74 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 1, 1943. Candia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dennis (of Glace Bay); her loving son, Jason (and wife Siobhan); as well as her brother, Mario; sisters, Norina, Adelina and Chiarina; nieces, nephews and her best friends, the ‘Timbits’. Candia was a member of the Glace Bay Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. She was a creative and talented writer, baker and debater with a great sense of humor who will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. We will miss you Candia; your love, your laugh, and your blueberry pies. Xoxo A service will be held for friends and family in June.
