Bill Lloyd

William Henry “Bill” Lloyd, 66, Thorburn, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, on November 12, 1951, he was a son of the late William Henry and Marjorie (Porter) Lloyd, of Westville. Bill was a nurse by profession, working in various hospitals and nursing homes, retiring from the Victoria General Hospital. He was a member of the Moore Lodge #17 I.O.O.F. A kind hearted person, Bill enjoyed his neighbourhood families , seeing the neighbourhood children and loved animals, especially working with the horses. He will be dearly missed by his family and community. Bill is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Moore Lodge #17 I.O.O.F. will conduct a service 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Darlene Jewers officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
