MACDONALD, Anne Florence Formerly of Glace Bay It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our mother Anne, on Oct 19, 2019 in Brantford, Ont. Anne was born Dec.16, 1935, to Tony and Josephine McKinnon and raised by her parents Tom and Mary MacLeod. Mother, to Debbie (Murray Tobin) Jimmy, Kevin (Sibylla) MacDonald, Anne Michelle (Jimmy) McCormick. Awesome Nanny, to Pamela (Jason) Beaucage, Tiffany Sugg (Scott) Mason, Dalton, Logan, Colton, Kaylee, Tia, Jason and Nicki Tobin. Sister, to Ronnie (Sue) Mackinnon, Tony (Jean) Mackinnon and Bernadine Mackinnon. Great-grandmother, to seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, John Peter MacDonald, son John Thomas MacDonald, sisters, Evangeline, Sr.Rita, Mary, and baby brother Adrienne, sister-in-laws, Mary Margaret, Catherine (Jimmy) Dowling, Florence (Carl) Williger, granddaughter, Shauna Tobin; and nephew, Robert Macdonald. Mom worked for many years at the Heavy Water Plant and enjoyed her bowling and dart leagues. She was quick witted, loved her family fiercely and would always speak her mind! She loved music and was proud of all her family’s accomplishments. Nanny was certainly one of a kind and we have so many great memories with her. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thank you to her friends Mary and Terry Mackinnon, Gloria and George MacDonald and Marguerite Wilson.
