Alfred Remie Boudreau
Memorial service for the late Alfred Remie Boudreau, 90, Martinique will be held at a later date.
Mr. Boudreau died December 27, at home.
Born August 2, 1928 in Petit de Grat, he was a son of the late Ernest and Rosanna (Samson) Boudreau. He worked at Booth Fisheries for more than 30 years. He was a strong Roman Catholic, who believed in the church, and made it a point to attend Mass regularly. Even in his final years, when his mobility diminished, he would always have his TV tuned to the weekly/daily Mass station at air time. Known affectionately to many as ‘Grampy,’ he loved watching WWE wrestling, playing bingo and he always enjoyed a competitive game of cards, with whoever was willing to play.
He is survived by two sons, Joe (Rose), Sioux Falls, S.D.; Brian (Rhea), Pondville; seven grandchildren, Darcelle, Josh, Danielle, Grant, Dominique, Gabrielle, Joseph; six great-grandchildren, Heather, Quinn, Zane, Simon, Logan, Emma; two sisters, Lena DeCoste (Leonard), Arichat; Melda Boudreau, Petit de Grat.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ida; two brothers, Norris, Jeff; two sisters, Elise, Delima.
