Ada Lillian (nee Murray) Macintosh

Ada Lillian (nee Murray) Macintosh passed away peacefully at the Perth Hospital on Friday, March 9, 2018, with her family at her side at the age of 94. Ada was predeceased by her parents, John and Sarah (nee Little) Murray; her 11 brothers and sisters, and her beloved grandson, Rala. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy whom she was married to for 69 years. She was a devoted mother of her three daughters, Marie, Janet (Bill Weiss) and Connie (John Mascherin). Cherished grandmother of Zuleika, Jessica, Nathan, Cara, Gaelen and Jesse, and proud great-grandmother to her 11 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Ann (Greet) MacDonald. Ada will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, her extended family and friends. Friends may gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 12 noon until the time of the service to celebrate her life in the Chapel at 2 o'clock. Following the service, all are invited to join the family at the Blair & Son Reception Centre for a time of refreshments and continue to share in their memories of Ada. The interment will take place a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Lanark County Alzheimer Society or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation.
