A Bridgewater man died Thursday night after his car collided with a tractor-trailer on Highway 103.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. between exits 12 and 13 near Bridgewater, RCMP said in a news release.
Police said a small car travelling west is believed to have crossed the centre line into the path of an oncoming truck.
The driver of the car, a 38-year-old man, died at the scene. The truck driver had minor injuries.
RCMP were assisted at the scene by volunteer firefighters and Bridgewater police.
The highway was closed overnight, with traffic diverted to Highway 3, and reopened late Friday morning.
