MARTOCK, N.S. - A serious accident within the 4,000 block of Highway 14 (Chester Road) has left a woman with serious injuries, following a single-vehicle collision, according to police.
Cpl. Jennifer Clarke, media relations officer with the RCMP said the extent of the person's injuries is unknown.
Clarke said the collision occurred between Sangster Bridge Road and Windsor Back Road at approximately 5:49 p.m. on April 22, 2018. First responders, including firefighters and EHS, were on the scene soon after.
The victim was transported via LifeFlight to hospital for her injuries.
A portion of Highway 14 was blocked to vehicles until approximately 3:45 a.m Clarke said.
An RCMP collision analyst was brought to the scene to collect evidence and an investigation is ongoing.
