GARLAND, N.S. — Kings District RCMP are looking for help in finding people alleged to have completed a string of overnight break ins in Kings County.
An RCMP release says a Garland resident contacted RCMP on Feb. 21, just before 3 a.m. when they allegedly saw a group of people going through a home with flashlights who then fled on foot and left together in a vehicle.
Another incident was reported later that same day when a string of alleged break ins occurred at a campsite in North Mountain.
Kings District RCMP Const. Jeff Wilson says there is no vehicle description and no definitive information on how many people are alleged to have been involved, and that police “believe over 20 campers were affected” by the alleged break ins.
“It is suspected these break [in]s are linked,” says Wilson.
