WINDSOR, N.S. — Quick As A Wink Theatre’s latest musical was another show-stopper.

Legally Blonde: The Musical was held May 31-June 2 and June 7-8 at King’s-Edgehill School’s Fountain Performing Arts Centre.

The show revolved around Elle Woods (played by Becca Guilderson) who was devastated after her boyfriend Warner (Tyler Craig) dumps her on his way to Harvard. Determined to win him back, she studies hard and charms her way into law school. As she learns about law and love, she quickly realizes her own potential.

The show also starred law teaching assistant and eventual love interest Emmett Forrest (Jordan Ginn), classmate and Warner’s girlfriend Vivienne Kensington (Marietta Laan), hair stylist Paulette (Lizon Richard) and her love interest Kyle B. O’Boyle (David Foley), client Brooke Wyndham (Amanda Mullally), Elle’s sorority sisters Serena (Jessica Brown), Pilar (Laura Gillis), and Margot (Nicole Saulnier), plus law professor Callahan (Mark Wainman), and classmates Ricky Ramario (Alex Hare), Aaron Shultz (Tris Healy) and Enid Hoopes (Erica Porter).

About a dozen more actors took the stage in supporting roles. There was also a live pit band.

The final performance of the 2018-19 season is Dracula, and it will take the stage in October.
