Bernier in Halifax for rally Friday; May in Glace Bay, Halifax on Saturday

Maxime Bernier will be in downtown Halifax tonight to host a rally. 

The People's Party of Canada leader will be at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel at 1919 Upper Water St. from 7-9 p.m. 

Bernier won't be the only party leader on the East Coast on Friday.

Green Party Leader Elizabeth May will be in New Brunswick this afternoon. 

After making an announcement on foreign affairs and security in Ottawa, May will travel to Maugerville, N.B., to visit the flood zone at 4:10 p.m. From there, she will head to Sackville, N.B., for a rally at the Cranewood Bakery and Cafe at 7:45 p.m.

Saturday, May will make an announcement in Charlottetown before heading to Glace Bay to join Clive Doucet, Green Party candidate for Cape Breton-Canso, for his campaign office opening. That event is from noon-4 p.m. but May will be in attendance from 1-3 p.m.

May will be in Halifax Saturday night to rally with local candidates at 6017 Quinpool Rd. at 7 p.m.  

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will be in Ottawa for a rally this morning, before travelling to British Columbia for remarks and an evening rally.

Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer will present his party's platform in British Columbia and host a rally later in the day.

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will be in Ontario for most of the day, with a quick stop in Montreal, Que., for media availability and mainstreeting.
