Middleton man charged for early morning break-and-enter

RCMP have charged a 24-year-old man with break-and-enter in Middleton.

MIDDLETON, N.S. — Annapolis District RCMP has charged a 24-year-old man following a break-in at a home in Middleton, early Friday morning, Feb.1.‎

Police were called to a home on Reagh Avenue at 2:44 a.m. The house was alarmed. Police noted tracks leading from the home and located the suspect nearby. He was arrested without incident and transported to Kingston RCMP Detachment.

Tyler James Guest, of Middleton, has been charged with break-and-enter, and three counts of breach of a recognizance. He appeared in Digby Provincial Court and was remanded. He will be appearing in court again on Feb. 4.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are expected.
