BRICKTON - A car in the ditch in Brickton just east of Lawrencetown slowed traffic on Highway 1 for more than an hour as police and fire went to the scene around 7:30 p.m.

Annapolis RCMP Cpl. Dion Canning said at the scene there appeared to be no serious injuries. He said it was the second vehicle off the road sp far in the evening. Another slid off the road in the Clementsport area.

Tow truck driver Steve Morse was called to the Brickton crash. His company had also pulled a vehicle out of the ditch in Middleton.

Canning said temperatures went from 2C to 0C very quickly. The roads were already wet and a brief snow squal made things worse.
