WINDSOR, N.S. — A collision involving a school bus full of children and a passenger vehicle turned out to be a fender bender in Windsor this afternoon.

Just before 3:30 p.m. Dec. 19, a two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Wiley Avenue and Albert Street. It's a residential area in Windsor, with the intersection being a four-way stop.

“It was a minor fender bender,” said Scott Condon, with the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board. “We just bring (police and ambulance) here for protocol, to make sure everyone is OK.”

Windsor firefighters were also paged to the scene but their services was not required.

“It’s part of our process whenever there’s any kind of collision whatsoever,” he said.

“We’re not sure yet who hit who. There will be an investigation,” he said. “The bus was coming around the corner and there was a slight collision with another car that was coming around the same corner.”
