Police investigating report of possible child luring incident in Berwick

BERWICK, N.S. — Police are investigating a possible child luring incident that was reported Feb. 25 in Berwick.

An RCMP release states Berwick RCMP responded to a call reporting a 13-year-old girl was approached by three adults in a red pickup truck.

The call alleged the girl was approached near a coffee shop on Commercial Street.

The release states police are investigating the alleged incident and are aware of social media comments referencing it.

It also says, "no one's safety is at risk resulting from this matter" and asks that anyone with information contact Kingston RCMP at 902-765-3317.
