GREENWOOD, N.S. — It was no secret Air Show Atlantic was back in town Labour Day weekend for residents of Greenwood and the neighbouring communities.
The sights and sounds spread beyond the hub of activity at 14 Wing Greenwood as back-to-back air show performances unfolded Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
The United States Navy’s Blue Angels stunt pilots were counted among the highlights, with the air show marking their first-ever appearance in Canada.
The Canadian Royal Forces also had multiple performances and aircrafts on display. EHS LifeFlight, RCMP, Canadian Coast Guard, and Lands and Forestry were all represented at the well-attended events.
