NEW MINAS - A New Minas woman reported as missing has been located.
RCMP turned to the public for assistance finding 25-year-old Kaylea Carey after she was last heard from via social media Dec. 30.
As of late Jan. 3, police confirmed that Carey was found, and is safe.
“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance, shares and retweets on social media,” said Kings District RCMP Const. Kelli Gaudet in a prepared statement.
