KENTVILLE, NS - The wait is over – the new Kentville Library location will finally open on Nov. 23.
The library’s temporary location will be closed Nov. 20-22 to allow for staff to move into the new space in the upper level of the former church at 440 Main Street. Library users may still return items to the outdoor book drop during the closure.
The new location will open Nov. 23 at 10 a.m., with a grand opening set for Nov. 25 at 10 a.m.
The grand opening will feature four author readings throughout the day, with authors Theresa Meuse, Tom Ryan, Wade Albert White and Christy Ann Conlin set to take part. Meuse will kick the day off at 11:30 a.m.
