KENTVILLE - A Kentville man has pleaded guilty to one count of theft over $5,000.

Daniel Gordon Parks, 59, changed his plea to guilty during an appearance in Kentville provincial court Oct. 30.

The charge against Parks stems from an investigation into complaints of theft from the Kentville Masonic Lodge Association.

According to information filed in court documents, the thefts occurred between July 12, 2015 and Dec. 6, 2016.

Parks is scheduled to return to Kentville provincial court Feb. 14 for a pre-sentence report and sentencing.
