WHITE ROCK, N.S. — A Lunenburg County man is facing multiple charges following a stabbing in White Rock.
RCMP were called to respond to a stabbing on White Rock Road at about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 30.
Joshua Emino, 21, stands accused of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
“The suspect and the victim are known to each other and this is not considered to be a random act,” RCMP said in a media release.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested without incident at the scene of the altercation.
Emino was ordered to appear in Kentville provincial court Sept. 3.
The investigation is ongoing.
