KINGS COUNTY, N.S. - Motorists are being asked to drive defensively at non-functioning traffic lights during the widespread power outages in Nova Scotia.
“RCMP Kings District are reminding motorists to use caution when entering intersections and areas that utilize traffic control devices,” said Const. Jeff Wilson in a media release Nov. 29.
“The current weather pattern is causing many power outages throughout the province this morning. Kings District RCMP are encouraging motorists to drive defensively and treat non-functioning traffic lights as a traditional stop sign.”
