PORT WILLIAMS, NS - Two men have been charged after police searched a Port Williams home and seized cocaine, cash, firearms and drug paraphernalia.
According to a news release from the RCMP, the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (VISCEU) conducted the search in the late evening of Nov. 23 with assistance from the Kings District RCMP. During the search, which was part of an ongoing investigation, police seized 83 grams of cocaine, $6,000 in cash, two unsecured firearms and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested Kristin Ryan Kirkpatrick, 34, of Port Williams and Dallas John Corbin, 35, of Kentville. The men have been charged with one count each of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Kirkpatrick faces one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm and one count of unsafe storage of a firearm.
Both men have been released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Kentville provincial court on Dec. 19. The investigation is ongoing.
