KENTVILLE, N.S. — A Kentville man is facing charges following an investigation into a break, enter and theft from the Kentville Library.

The Kentville Police Service arrested Martin Leroy Cleveland Jr., 27, on May 21 in relation to a report of a break, enter and theft from the library that occurred over the weekend. An investigation by the Kentville Police Service and the Kings Street Crime Enforcement Unit led to the arrest.

Cleveland is scheduled to appear in Kentville provincial court on May 22 on charges that include three counts of possession of stolen property of a value not exceeding $5,000, two counts of failing to comply with probation and failing to comply with his recognizance.

Police recovered numerous items taken from the library and continue to investigate the incident.
