KENTVILLE, N.S. — As autumn painted the Valley in a variety of golden hues last weekend, Kentville held a celebration of the season on Oct 5.
The Kentville Harvest Festival was a jolly, busy way to start the weekend, with a multitude of residents visiting Centre Square for games, food and entertainment. A significant number of guests busied themselves in a traditional Kentville autumnal rite – the building of pumpkin people with clothes, gourds and handful after handful of straw.
