Emergency department at Middleton hospital faces temporary closure

The Collaborative Emergency Centre at Annapolis Community Health Centre will be closed on Thursday, June 21 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

MIDDLETON, N.S. — The emergency department at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton is closed from 9 p.m. today (Sept. 10) until 8 a.m. on Sept. 11 due to lack of physician coverage, the Nova Scotia Health Authority said in a media release.

If you have an emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest open emergency department.

For non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse, please call 811.

The Mental Health Crisis Line operates 24/7 at 1-888-429-8167.
