Crime Stoppers, police seeking tips after armed robbery in Falmouth

WINDSOR, N.S. — The RCMP is seeking information that could lead to an arrest in a pre-Christmas armed robbery.

According to a Crime Stoppers press release, on Dec. 20, at 9:35 p.m., a man wearing a black ski mask entered the Kwik-Way at 129 Falmouth Back Rd. Once inside the store, the thief produced a large knife and demanded cash from the store clerk.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police believe the man arrived in a car and parked down the road from the store on Falmouth Back Road toward Windsor. After committing the robbery the man fled on foot in that same direction.

The man is described as being 5’5” of unknown race. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket with a hood, jeans, sneakers and light-coloured gloves. The interior of the coat was also light-coloured.

Anyone with information concerning this robbery is asked to call the Windsor District RCMP at 902-798-2207.
