FALMOUTH, NS - The body of an 80-year-old woman who was reported missing the morning of Dec. 23 has been found.
The body was discovered shortly after police were called. The woman’s remains were located close to her home. She had been missing since 9 p.m. the previous evening.
A news release from the RCMP states that foul play is not suspected. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Service will complete an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
