Queens County District RCMP are reminding rural, cottage and camp property owners that now that summer has arrived, it’s time to be extra vigilant for suspicious activities near their properties.
Residents are reminded to report any suspicious vehicles or people that appear to be unfamiliar with the area and/or are lurking. If possible, get a photograph and/or licence plate number and document times and dates related to the sighting.
Anyone with this type of information should call the Queens County RCMP at 902-354-5721 or Crime Steppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on the tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 to $2,000.
