DIGBY, N.S. – Nova Scotia Health Authority wishes to advise the public that the emergency department at Digby General Hospital will be closed Tuesday, July 17 at 6:00 p.m. and will reopen Wednesday, July 18 at 8:00 a.m.
This is due to lack of physician coverage.
Those experiencing a medical emergency should always call 911.
General health concerns can be directed to 811, where health advice and information are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by registered nurses.
