GRAND PRÉ, N.S. — A cyclist was transported to Valley Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a collision with a truck near Highway 1.

According to Const. Jeff Wilson, Kings District RCMP media relations officer, police responded to a call involving a cyclist and a truck on Aug. 16 at 9:10 a.m.

The incident happened in the Hortonville/Grand Pré area, close to the intersection of Grand Pré Road and Highway 1.

Wilson stopped short of saying who hit whom, noting that there weren’t enough details confirmed on Friday to say that much.

Speaking with Kings County News on Aug. 16, Wilson noted the matter is still under investigation.
