ATV driver facing serious injuries following collision in South Rawdon

SOUTH RAWDON, N.S. – Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2017, East Hants District RCMP, EHS and the Brooklyn Fire Department responded to a collision involving an ATV side-by-side vehicle on Cross 3 Road in South Rawdon.

According to RCMP the ATV side-by-side had flipped on its side, resulting in the driver of the vehicle being trapped.

There were two occupants in the ATV at the time of the collision – the driver, a 26-year-old man and a passenger, a 25-year-old man.

The driver was the only person injured and was transported by EHS to the QEII with serious injuries.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
