You’ve heard of Paint Nite, but have you heard of Plant Nite?
The Quarterdeck Beachside Villa and Grill is taking advantage of the new trend and is bringing something new and different to the area on May 24, says manager, Stephanie Miller Vincent.
Plant Nite, offered by the same business that hosts Paint Nites, launched in Nova Scotia last fall. Using plants and wine, Plant Nite is a social event held at restaurants where participants can reconnect with friends and discover their creative sides.
These aren’t typical plant classes. Instead, guests are invited to create their own unique terrarium. Organizers explain all that’s need to make personalized terrariums is some enthusiasm for a fun evening, while Plant Nite supplies the succulents, accessories, and even some laid-back guidance for those who want it.
The Quarterdeck is prepared to host over 30 people to their first Plant Nite. The event is open to men and women, but all guests must be over 19 years old.
Plant Nite falls in line with other events the Quarterdeck has hosted in the past, says Miller Vincent. Other events have included a Magikmala bracelet workshop and a wine and chocolate tasting eventing. Other upcoming events include a Magicmala workshop and an acrylic pour painting workshop.
Tickets for Plant Nite are available at PlantNite.com and coupon codes are available on the Quarterdecks’ Facebook page.
The event will be held May 24, beginning at 7 p.m.
