KENTVILLE, NS - It’s a celebration of the splendor of nature and the launch of the Flying Squirrel Adventures program.
Flying Squirrel Adventures is holding a free, all-ages nature challenge followed by a live musical performance in the Kentville Ravine on Oct. 20. The nature challenge will take participants into the ravine to test their awareness skills. This will be followed by an open air concert by Little Miss Moffat (Ashley Moffat), who will perform many of her nature songs that teach about plants and animals. There will be prizes, information on local biodiversity, hot cider and more.
The nature challenge begins at 10 a.m. and the concert is at 11 a.m. Admission is a free-will offering. Participants are asked to dress for the conditions since it is an outdoor event and solid footwear is recommended for the walk into the ravine. Participants will meet by the upper parking lot behind the Kentville Research Station at 32 Main St.
