SHELBURNE, N.S. — A ceremonial tree planting, as well as a garden party, was held at Roseway Manor on June 18.
The tree was an ornamental purple plum, donated by the Shelburne Garden Club and planted by Lavender Hill Nursery OF Shelburne in the "Our Place" courtyard at Roseway Manor. Allison Blades owner and operator of Lavender Hill Nursery planted the tree. Marilyn Johnston, a member of the Shelburne Garden Club, was also amongst those in attendance.
