Wednesday, Nov. 7 marks the second anniversary of the death of Canadian icon Leonard Cohen at the age of 82.
The singer-songwriter, poet and novelist is an inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was invested as a Companion of the Order of Canada and, in 2011, received one of the Prince of Asturias Awards for literature and the ninth Glenn Gould Prize.
Over the course of six decades, the prolific Cohen penned and performed countless songs that are still performed by other artists to this day.
