Horton’s prom parade delights Wolfville crowd

WOLFVILLE, N.S. —

Dresses, cars and smiles shone brightly under a summer sun on an evening many local teens won’t soon forget.

Horton High’s prom was held June 25 at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market.

The students all met at the Acadia Athletic Complex and rode down Main Street in a wide assortment of vehicles, ranging from sports cars to horses.

The teens could be heard laughing and revving engines all the way there.

Proud loved ones lined the streets and snapped photos, freezing moments in time on the night that students were the stars of the show.
