LAWRENCETOWN, N.S. - Breakfast with Santa has become a tradition at Lawrencetown Consolidated School, and the 31st edition drew big crowds as young and old alike dropped by for pancakes, bacon, oranges and much more for the most important meal of the day.
They stuck around for face painting, a chance to sit on Santa’s knee, and maybe get a candy cane from the jolly old elf. There was a silent auction and 50/50 draw, plus the Lawrencetown Lions Club was on hand to hand out free books to all the kids.
There was also a Christmas hamper people were buying tickets on, and a festive spirit that lasted the whole morning.
