BARRINGTON, N.S. – A trifecta of information for entrepreneurs and the business community will be delivered at the Barrington and Area Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, April 21 at Capt. Kat's Lobster Shack in Barrington Passage.

The annual general meeting features three speakers from the Western Regional Enterprise Network (WREN), who will present the various facets of their BusinessNow program. The evening gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Victoria Brooks will speak about the Business Retention and Expansion program. Through a professional and confidential visitation, business owners can get access to supports to overcome business challenges or to grow their business.

Gino Thibeault will present about the Atlantic Immigration Pilot program. This immigration stream is different from many others as it is designed specifically for employers to access a permanent workforce.

Brenda LaGrandeur will wrap up the presentation speaking about the Connector Program. The intentional networking program is designed to put local talent directly in touch with those who can help them develop their professional network – and increase the chance of the region retaining this talent.

All are welcome to attend. While RSVP’S are not necessary they would be appreciated for optimum planning. RSVPs can be made by email to barringtonchamberofcommerce.com or via the chamber’s Facebook page.
