Yarmouth U-14 Clippers win gold at the Gunn

The Yarmouth Clippers U14 girls brought home the gold from the Gunn Baldersson tournament this past weekend in Wolfville. The team won all of their games and allowed no goals against in the tournament.

The following are the results of the games.

• Yarmouth 1 – HB Studios 0:

Scoring the lone goal for Yarmouth was Andrea Oguntade.

• Yarmouth 4 – East Kings 0:

Scoring were Jalissa Fells (2), Katherine Kini and Andrea Oguntade

• Yarmouth 4 – CC Riders 0:

Scoring were Jalissa Fells (2), Grace Hobbs and Andrea Oguntade

• Semi-final: Yarmouth 5 – Sackville 0:

Yarmouth faced Sackville in the semi-final and won 5-0 to move onto the championship game. Scoring for Yarmouth in the semi-final were Jalissa Fells with (2), Andrea Oguntade (2) and Grace Hobbs.

• Championship: Yarmouth 1 – West Nova Fuels 0

Yarmouth faced West Nova Fuels in the Championship game and defeated them with a scored of 1-0. Scoring the lone goal for Yarmouth was Saige Breton.

Samantha Nelson was in the net for all the games.
