Schooners split season opener during double header in Clark's Harbour

CLARK'S HARBOUR, N.S. – The Shelburne County Schooners powered by Island Traps opened their season in the Nova Scotia Intermediate Men’s Baseball League on June 2 at home at the F.A. Brannen Memorial Ball Park in Clark’s Harbour, splitting a double header with the Truro Bearcats.

The Bearcats won game one 5-2.

The Schooners came back for a 6-3 win in game two.

No game stats were available at the time of this posting.

The Schooners are back in action at home on Saturday, June 9, when they meet the Kennetcook Braves for double header action at 1 and 3 p.m. These will be their last home games until June 30 when they meet the Pictou County Royals at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Schooners will also be taking to the diamond in Clark’s Harbour on July 1 when they will take on the Windsor Knights at 1 and 3 p.m.
