Table tennis triumphs for Horton and Wolfville

CANNING NS – Horton High School and Wolfville School captured their respective divisions at the western region table tennis tournament this past weekend.

The Wolfville School team includes: Jake Lewis, left, Jack Johnston, Ethan Ennis, Jonas Doriedon and coach Tomo Vibert. Coach Jeff Moore is missing.

It was held at the North East Kings Educational Centre on Saturday, April 29. The Horton High School senior boys team, the Horton High School intermediate boys team and the Wolfville Junior boys team won their respective divisions.
All three teams will be playing in provincials on Saturday, May 6 in Cheticamp, Cape Breton.
Wolfville player Jonas Doriedon will be travelling to Toronto to participate in the chess nationals for Grade 8 over the Victoria Day weekend.
