Central Kings Gators drop first basketball game to Annapolis West

CAMBRIDGE, NS - In senior boys' basketball action Nov. 14, the Central Kings Gators lost to Annapolis West Education Centre by a score of 81-68. 
“The Gators got off to a poor start and trailed 42-23 at the half,” said head coach Paul Daley. “They fought back in the second half and trailed 65-59 in the fourth quarter but couldn't close the gap.” 
Hayden Shepard led the Gators with 27 points and Alex Parnell chipped in with 15.
 The Gators’ next home game is Nov. 24, when they host West Kings as part of the Gator Tip-Off Tournament.
