Part of the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour event set for Wolfville Nov. 27 to 29 is a cheer video contest for youth hockey teams.

As of Nov. 23, six local teams had entered the competition for online votes: Acadia Minor Hockey’s Peewee C Crouse, Novice Intermediate Tigers, Novice Blue Devils and  Axeman Atom A team, as well as the Valley Wild’s Atom A and Peewee AA teams. Acadia Minor Hockey draws players from eastern Kings County. The Wild teams' players come from West Hants, Kings and Annapolis counties.

According to the Hometown Hockey website, five teams with the most votes will be invited to take part in the tour activities. The winning team for each location will be part of a competition in early 2016 to win a trip to an NHL hockey game.

Find all six and register your vote until 11:59 p.m. Nov. 23 here.
