PEB Sharks scored twice in last 36 seconds to defeat Bridgewater Vikings 8-7 in high school hockey

BRIDGEWATER, N.S. – In a high-scoring game that saw the final three goals scored in the last minute of regulation time, the Par-en-Bas Sharks skated away with the 8-7 win over the Bridgewater Vikings at the LCLC on Oct. 22.

The two teams were tied 2-2 at the end of one, with goals scored by Max Hartling and Marshall Rock for Bridgewater and Dominic Surette and Josh Boudreau for PEB.

By the end of the second period PEB had a 5-3 lead with goals scored by Jacques LeBlanc, Dominic Surette and Riley Babin. Scoring for Bridgewater in the second frame had been Colby Baker.

Bridgewater rallied with four goals in the third period off the sticks of Ryan Williamson, Nick Landry and Evan O’Toole (2). The last Vikings goal came with 55 seconds left, putting Bridgewater ahead 7-6.

However the Sharks answered back with two goals in the last 36 seconds of the game, both scored by Dominic Surette who have an overall 5 goals in the game.
