Kids learning the hockey basics at the Shelburne Arena

SHELBURNE -Youngsters will be at the Shelburne County Arena every Saturday morning until mid March learning the basics of hockey.

The program, held by the Shelburne County Recreation Hockey Association is intended for players who are relatively new to the game, there are three levels offered for children from primary age to Grade 9.

Coach Anthony Gosbee says kids involved have a lot of fun while learning basic hockey skills through drills and fun scrimmages.

He says they have room for more and anyone interested in taking part can contact the Shelburne Arena or contact him at Gosbee's Sporting Goods.
