The tournament runs from Dec. 27 to  29.

This is the third year for the tournament, which brings in 14 teams from four divisions:  Novice, Atom, PeeWee and Midget. The teams are mainly from the South Shore, but will also include Eastern Shore, Dartmouth and two from Yarmouth. In total, 230 hockey players will be hitting the ice over the course of 24 games

Beth Harding, co-chairwoman of the event, says organizers had a tremendous support from the community and local businesses, which made this tournament possible.

Outside of hockey, there will be a chuck-a-uck, lobster raffle as well as a 100 square.

There is no admission cost to watch the games.
