The U15 female and U18 female teams along with U14 male and U15 male teams all came away with the win in the gold medal games.
Nova Scotia boasted 17 wins, two losses and a tie over the four-day event.
Of the 331 hockey players from all corners of our Atlantic provinces, nine of them brought home the gold not only to Nova Scotia but to our small community of Hants County. This includes sisters Brianna and Tiffany Hill, Jenna Leighton, Kenzie Cecchetto, Maggy Burbidge, Savannah Hartt, Bailey Peach, Damian Hartt, and Joe MacDonald.
Those nine players, along with their Nova Scotia teammates, will have their names etched on the coveted Atlantic Cup alongside names like Brad Marchand, Nathan MacKinnon, Sydney Crosby and other NHL greats. The Cup will be on display in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
