The Avalanche will go up against the 3-1-0 Northeast Kings Titans on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
The Avalanche has played three road games to date and are 2-1-0 on the season.
With the graduation of seven players from last season's team, high school hockey fans will be able to see at home for the first time the nucleus of new players. Some of the key players to watch for include Liam Parker, who presently leads the team in goals, Liam Kelley, Jacob Caldwell, Jonny Parker and Ben Dixon — to name a few.
Returning from last season are Tyler Lapierre, who leads the team in points, Nick Gerhardt, Keeshaun Such, Jordan Spence, who is perhaps one off the team's fastest skaters, and Joe Beaton.
They hope to enter their home opener with a 3-1-0 record as they travel to Kingston for a game with the West Kings Wolverines Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.
