During the Friday night game in Kingston, the Avalanche scored four times to rally from a 3-2 deficit to win 6-4 over the West Kings Wolverines.

The same luck was not with them when the Avalanche hosted their home opener Nov. 7 and took on the first-place Northeast Kings Titans.

The Titans were coming off an 11-5 win over Parkview on Friday night, and dominated the Avalanche for the majority of the Nov. 7 game.

The Titans took home a 5-1 victory. The Avalanche's season record is now 3-2.

The Avalanche’s goalie, William Earley, made several great saves to keep the score in the single digits.

The first period ended in a scoreless tie.

The Titans dominated the ice and with 9:23 to play in the middle frame, took a 2-0 lead.

With less than five minutes gone in the final period, the Titans let a shot go from the blue line and it was 3-0. The score stayed that way until there was less than three minutes showing on the clock.

The Avalanche finally broke through the Titans’ defence and Keeshaun Such drilled a hard wrist shot to best their goalie.

That made the score 3-1 but the Avalanche couldn’t register any more scoring opportunities before the time expired.
